On the drive into Alice Springs your Guide will provide helpful information on local weather, Alice Springs facilities, attractions and dining options. En route to the hotel, a short Alice Springs orientation tour will be provided including a visit to Anzac Hill, which offers a panoramic view of Alice Springs and the MacDonnell
Ranges. Your guide will assist with hotel check-in and provide a full tour briefing.

Day 2 – Monday / Tuesday / Friday / Saturday Alice Springs - Kings Canyon
Arrive at the Camels Australia at Stuarts Well where you can relax, take photos and maybe take a short Camel Ride (at your own expense). We continue along the Stuart Highway and Lasseter Highway and then have your lunch break at Mt. Ebenezer Roadhouse (lunch at your own expense). Late in the afternoon we arrive at Kings Creek Station. Then proceed to our exclusive Kings Canyon Wilderness Lodge and settle into your accommodation. Your guide will assist with hotel check-in.

Passengers may choose to stay in Kings Canyon Resort (room only) as an alternative.

Kings Canyon Wilderness Lodge is exclusively located on Kings Creek Station, a fully operational cattle and camel station of 1800 square kilometres. Set in a typical Central Australian bush environment among the Desert Oak trees – a tree that is only found in this region of Central Australia, Kings Canyon Wilderness Lodge is sure to give you a memorable Australian Outback experience.

Day 3 – Tuesday / Wednesday / Saturday / Sunday Kings Canyon Rim Walk - Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park
This morning we rise early and travel to Kings Canyon for the spectacular guided Rim Walk. Alternatively customers can choose to take the less strenuous Creek Walk.

Passengers who choose the approx. 3 hour Kings Canyon Rim Walk will be accompanied by their guide.

Passengers who choose to undertake the Creek Walk will do so unescorted at their own leisurely pace. We will have time to return to accommodation to freshen up before departing for Ayers Rock Resort and the famous Uluru. En route we will
make a photo stop at Mt Conner. On arrival at Ayers Rock Resort your guide will assist with hotel check-in. Mid-afternoon we will depart Ayers Rock Resort and make our way to Kata Tjuta. Our first stop is the Kata Tjuta Dune Viewing Area where you can see spectacular 360-degree views. We then take a guided walk into Walpa Gorge. Marvel at the sheer walls that flank you as you enter the Gorge. Learn of the domes’ formation and of the flora and fauna of the region. Late in the day, we watch the sunset over Uluru. Admire the everchanging colours of the mighty monolith while enjoying a complimentary glass of Australian sparkling wine with delicious canapés.

Day 4 - Wednesday / Thursday / Sunday / Monday Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park - Uluru Sunrise and Climb
Departing your hotel early this morning, we enter Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. Enjoy a warming cup of tea, coffee or green tea as you witness an Uluru sunrise. With the sun climbing in the morning sky, take the guided Mala Walk to Kantju Gorge. During the Mala Walk you can learn the stories of the Mala (Rufous Hare Wallaby) and mythical ancestors that travelled to Uluru for a religious ceremony. Following the Mala Walk take the Kuniya Walk to view ancient cave paintings and visit Mutitjulu, a sacred waterhole, to learn the story of the Aboriginal “Kuniya Tjukurpa”
(Python Dreaming). Visit the Uluru-Kata-Tjuta National Park Cultural Centre and learn more about Aboriginal culture or alternatively take a refreshment break at the Ininti café. There is also an opportunity here to purchase locally made Aboriginal arts & crafts.

Instead of joining the guided Mala and Kuniya walks and the Uluru-Kata-Tjuta National Park Cultural Centre, you may choose to climb Uluru (approximate 2.5 hours). This is subject to the climb being open.

We return to Ayers Rock Resort, time permitting to freshen up and get ready for your transfer to Ayers Rock Airport for onward flights.  Please note that you may be required to checkout of your hotel room prior to commencement of this morning’s touring.
