Accompanied by a botanical guide we venture out around locations in Perth’s outskirts to seek out the wildflowers. Whilst the slope, soils and ancient granite outcrops of the Darling Escarpment are traditionally a great habitat and place to view wildflowers, profusion varies daily dependent upon sunshine so locations visited are those where wildflowers bloom will be at their best depending on daily conditions.
At the various sites the experienced guide will help you search and identify rare and delicate wildflowers including the renowned orchids and red and green kangaroo paw. Plenty of time is given to identify and photograph flowers and a complimentary wildflower booklet is included. Breaks during the day will be made for morning and afternoon tea, your driver will find a bush setting for picnic lunch.
