The Hunter Valley is a region of the Australian State of New South Wales and is approximately 160 kilometres north of Sydney. Its population is around 590,000 people, who mostly live in the coastal cities of Newcastle and Lake Macquarie.

The Hunter valley, which is known as the largest river valleys of New South Wales, is also one of its major tourist destinations. It is very popular for its wineries, especially in the area of Pokolbin. The whole region offers plenty of beautiful restaurants, guesthouses, golf courses and shops in the scenery of a picturesque countryside.
