Spectacular views and bushwalks
Kings Canyon is a huge canyon situated within the Watarrka National Park, in the Australian Northern Territory. It is approximately 230 kilometres southwest of Alice Springs and can be reached by many different routes.
The Canyon itself is about 270 metres high and offers some spectacular views. To fully enjoy the site, visitors are advised to do two beautiful bushwalks, the King's Canyon Walk and the Kings Creek Walk. The walk around the rim, that can take 3 to 4 hours, offers amazing views.
The Watarrka National Park shelters many animals and plants.
