Litchfield National Park
Litchfield National Park is located in the Australian Northern Territory, 100 kilometres south-west of the city of Darwin. Its surface is approximately 1,500 square kilometres.
Visitors can enjoy the scenery of many spectacular waterfalls, cascading from a sandstone plateau called the Tabletop Range. The park offers some idyllic swimming areas, as well as beautiful bushwalking tracks. There are also several types of Top End habitats including lush termite mounds, monsoon forests and some unusual rock formations. The remote sandstone formations of the Lost City are very popular.
